Broadview Stables, the most prestigious riding academy in the United States, located in California's wild Sierra Nevada Mountains and run by Olympic rider turned rehab counselor, Kaylee O'Connor.
Each and every year the stables are flooded with hundreds of applications for entrance into the program. Out of the hundreds of applicants, only a ‘special’ few are chosen. These few aren't the best riders in the nation, people destined to be on the Olympic team or ride to fame and glory. Out of these few, most know little to nothing about horses. These few are people that need help with addiction, getting over abuse, or learning to live again. These are the people that need to rehabilitate their lives.
'Normal' methods aren't used here to help, to rehabilitate, the students. Each and every person that comes to Broadview is giving a horse to take care of in hope that it will help them cope with their own problems, to show them that they aren't hopeless and worthless, and that there is someone who believes in them and trusts them. The horses show that no matter how messed up you or your past is, there is always the future. A future that you get to write for yourself.
This isn’t just another riding academy, this is Rehab <a href="http://ridingrehab.proboards.com/index.cgi"><img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/1zvrbyp.jpg" border="0" alt="Rehab"></a>
